Сonference "Social responsibility of business"
October 20-21, 2010 Center of Business Social Responsibility & Business Ethics IIB and Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv are organize conference about the problem of social responsibility and business ethics, situation and perspectives of social reporting development in Ukraine, the role of International Standard ISO 26000 in the process of integration of socio-responsible behavior in business practice. Conference will take place in the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
The 16h of October 2010 the graduation of 5th cohort of International MBA program in a partnership with the University of New Brunswick took place
The students were greeted in occasion of successful completion of the program by Alexander Sabchenko, Head of IIB’s Supervisory Board, Vladimir Zabolotny, IIB’s President, Andrew Gaudes, Associate Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration of the University of New Brunswick, Assad David, Director of International Programs of the University of New Brunswick, faculty and staff of IIB.
This year the graduates were top managers of leading Ukrainian and international companies: Hudson Global Resources", "Science Technology Centre Ukraine", "Astarta", "Vents", "Garantiya", "Zvenigora Cheese" and others.

MBA Club meeting was held on October 22
On Friday, Ocrober 22, 2010 IIB MBA Club was held. During the meeting a round table devoted to the issues of economic situations in Ukraine and perspectives of 2011 was conducted. Head of IIB Supervisory Board Oleksandr Savchenko was a moderator of the round table. Presentation of Dmytro Boyarchuk, the Executive Director of the Center for Social and Economic Rearches Case Ukraine, covered challenges of economic future of Ukraine. IIB MBA Professor Volodymyr Savchuk shared his experience and forecasts regarding global financial trand and their influence at Ukrainian economy. Both speeches raised active discussions and a lot of questions.
Upon completion of the round table informal business cocktail took place, during which the participants of the event had an opportunity to communicate and share their ideas and news.

International Institute of Business (IIB) and University of New Brunswick (UNB) - Partnership Continuation
Development of cooperation and partnership with foreign universities, business schools and international organizations is an integral part and strategic priority of IIB’s activities throughout whole IIB’s history.
October 16, 2010 MIB (Ukraine) and the University of New Brunswick (Canada) re-signed a cooperation agreement, which confirmed their intention to continue the joint program of International MBA. Graduates of this program obtain MBA degree and Diplomas of two high schools, which are recognized by both employers of Ukraine and worldwide.

For the first time during the existence of CIPR programs at the International Institute of Business, Vera Chernysh, student of CIPR Advanced Certificate Course 2009 was awarded a Distinction with a mark of 90 for her final work Critique. This is unusually high anywhere, and unprecedented for Ukraine.
