In February, 2011 IIB-Ukraine received confirmation of the status of Accredited Study Centre of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) for the next two years. The recognition of CIM, the most prestigious association of marketers in the world, of course, causes our pride. And at the same time, it inspires us to further developing approaches to teaching Ukrainian marketing elite by using the modern world achievements in this field and applying them to the Ukrainian realities. On the 21of April the Scientific and Practical Seminar Meeting took place at IIB.

Seminar joined lectures around business activity actual issues of management practice. Such issues as: new approaches in the process of capital structure formation (M.Sorokin), marketing approaches applications in HR of modern enterprise (L.Pashchuk) were reviewed. A new handbook "Commodity market infrastructure" was presented at the meeting. V.Polonets, author of the handbook, mentioned the modernity and practical significance of the book.

Official meeting turned into the informal discussion of all participants.

 

The main issues discussed at the seminar:

  • development history of ISO 26000 Standard,
  • Ukraine’s participation in the work over the standard,
  • specifics and character of the standard,
  • basic principles and issues of corporate responsibility,
  • stages of the promotion of corporate responsibility in accordance to the standard,
  • the impact of ISO 26000 on business society, formation of corporate responsibility program

 

March 16, 2011 students and alumni of the International Institute of Business will have a possibility to meet His Excellency Daniel Caron, Ambassador of Canada to Ukraine. During the meeting Mr. Caron will discuss the issues of the collaboration between Canada and Ukraine. Moreover, during this event an opening ceremony of the International MBA program will take place.

Press-conference objectives: Discussion the Law of Ukraine "On higher education", problems of business education in Ukraine, the research results of an independent international rating agency EDUNIVERSAL, France, ranking of business schools in Ukraine.

Target Audience: Press conference is designed for journalists, specialists of business education, HR-managers of Ukrainian and multinational companies.
