Executive MBA 

The IIB Executive MBA Program is a powerful vehicle of a business value creation. The purpose of the IIB EMBA is to equip owners and senior executives with the knowledge, relationships, and tools necessary to increase value in the most efficient way. Participants in the program embark on a comprehensive academic journey that prepares them to successfully navigate the diverse challenges facing entrepreneurs and top executives in today’s dynamic global marketplace.

· ensuring professional enrichment of senior executives, development of analytical capabilities, creative thinking, and leadership potential,

· shaping systematic approach to business management, based on the concept of increasing value of a company,

· mastering the best international management practices.

Rigour and relevance — the two guiding principles of IIB MBA programs — mean professors impart the latest management theory and practice, but also look for ways to help students apply that knowledge outside of the classroom. This balance between research and real world is especially applicable to students in the MBA Programs, who are able to take back to work after the lessons they learn at IIB.

The program duration is 2 years and consists of intensive five-day sessions every month, from Wednesday through Sunday (20 sessions in total). Program usually starts in October.

The workload during the sessions is rather heavy and it is expected that participants will devote most of their time to the learning process. Each session includes 32 hours of in-class work and students are expected to allocate the same amount of time for individual preparation, group work, cases and preparation for presentations.

Professors deliver classes introducing various training methods and approaches. Class discussions, presentations, teamwork, class projects, consulting mini-projects for organizations, analysis of a company operations, case studies, business simulations, and an Integrative Business Project provide opportunities to enhance student’s ability to cooperate, lead and follow; communicate and persuade; utilize spreadsheets, databases and software applications; and build the practical experience highly demanded by business environment.

The IIB EMBA program intentionally seeks candidates with a wide variety of professional experience, industry representation and perspectives, which enriches classroom work and the overall MBA experience. Among the IIB MBA students are entrepreneurs who have established and operate their own businesses in Ukraine, executives who spin Ukrainian branches of multinational corporations and mature individuals who are only developing business leaders.

The team of highly-qualified and experienced professors with different backgrounds consists of famous native and foreign specialists, possessing extensive teaching, research and consulting experiences which creates a unique learning environment to ensure professional and individual growth of participants.

There is computer laboratory available to IIB students at no extra charge. All IIB students are provided by access to the computers. Students can use the library holdings and IIB resource centre while studying at the programs.

The Library has a book collection specialized in company management, marketing, finance and business science, compiled to support learning activities, teaching and research and to meet the information requirements of students. There are more than 2000 book titles in the library holdings.
